Grandma- I'm updating this for your birthday. I thought keeping a blog up to date would be a little easier than I have found it. I'll try to put another update for the past month on in a few days?

Chad, Dane and I went to the fair and checked out all the "puppies". Dane calls all animals puppies which we refuse to correct because it is so darn cute. Chance and Emi went to Burley for Mimi and Papa's annual back to school sleepover so they missed all the fun. They sure didn't mind!

We have talked about getting a bunny for several years and finally did it this year. Dane and I picked out the most cuddly "puppy" there. She just sat on Dane, and he snuggled with her.

Chance, Emi, and Bridger helped us bring her home and introduce her to the house. She was a little smothered. The kids named her "Roxie". Now that we have had her for a while, they pretty much ignore her :) Dane likes to go to her cage and say "Rok-the, what sup?" I tried to add the adorable lisp.

Chad is "living the dream" and is now a carpool mom. Here are the kids on the first day of school. Chance is in second grade and Emi is in kindergarten. They were both up really early ready to start the school year. The excitement has worn off for Chance, but Emi is still loving it.

Emi and her best friend Hazlee in their classroom.

Don't let this picture fool you. Mimi and Papa are NOT leading Dane around. They are being LED!

Papa is showing Dane how to wash the "tatoes" they just dug up.

Dane taking one of his many trips in Papa's jeep. He loves to ride in it and no one can seem to tell him no.

The double birthday party. Teagan turned 15 and Dane turned 2 on September 18. They shared a cake and a party.

Dane received lots of help unwrapping his presents. I can't believe my little miracle boy is 2 already!
Dane is 2 and not missing a beat!!! If he has a
ReplyDeletelisp, he copied his grandma Jan. You should ask
Marilyn about the rabbit she had. She used to
tuck him in her bed after she got up in the morning. They make fun pets--or "puppies".
The kids look great--and have grown already!!!
